Licensed plumbers in Kelvin Grove
For urgent work in Kelvin Grove, 25.8 km out, the phone call matters as much as the visit.
5-star rated on Google
Measured from the Brisbane CBD, Kelvin Grove is about 3.6 km north-west.
We walk you through isolating it first.
Emergencies in dense housing escalate sideways. Water from a failed flexi on an upper floor reaches three dwellings before anyone finds the tap. We isolate first and locate second.
Enoggera Creek shapes the local drainage. Low-lying blocks near it see surcharge first when the rain is heavy enough.
Kelvin Grove's density brings access issues - restricted parking, shared entries, lifts and loading docks. Flagging them when you call means we arrive with the right plan.
We service the suburb daily, and we will tell you honestly on the phone how long we will be. Newmarket, Wilston, Herston and Spring Hill are all on our regular runs, so neighbouring streets get the same response.
Clear a path if you safely can - move the car, unlock the side gate, shut the dog away. On an urgent job the minutes between arriving and starting work are the ones that matter. Tell us plainly what is happening and whether anyone is at risk. We would rather hear that it sounds worse than it is than have you play it down and us arrive under-equipped.
If the permanent repair needs a part we do not carry, we make the situation safe and return with it rather than improvising something that fails next month.
We leave you with an honest view of the system's age and condition. In a house this old that is usually worth more than the repair itself.
Emergency plumbing – give the experts a call
We quote before we start, in Kelvin Grove as everywhere. You hear the number, you agree to it, and that is the number on the invoice. If we find something unexpected, we stop and tell you before continuing.
Appliance connection prices depend on whether the existing line can carry the load. We check that before quoting, because finding out afterwards means the appliance underperforms and somebody pays twice. The price reflects the work and the hour, not how worried you sounded on the phone.
Isolation, diagnosis, quote, repair - in that order. Nobody should be agreeing to a price while water is still running.
Stormwater maintenance in Kelvin Grove means clear gutters, clear downpipes and clear pits, so the water actually reaches Enoggera Creek.
Brisbane City Council is the authority for notifiable plumbing work in Kelvin Grove, and the lodgement is ours to handle.
For council matters, Kelvin Grove falls within the Paddington ward. That is the office involved in anything touching the main or the footpath.
For water, the mains tap at the meter. For gas, the valve at the meter and no naked flames. Tell us what you have already shut off when you call.
Always. Emergency rates do not mean skipping the quote. You hear the number and agree to it before any repair begins.
If it damages the property or puts someone at risk, yes. If it is annoying but stable, booking it costs you less and we will say so on the phone rather than letting you pay emergency rates.
Yes. Emergency work is not limited to business hours. Tell us what is happening and we will say straight away whether it can safely wait until morning.
Notifiable work has to be lodged with Brisbane City Council, and anything connecting to sewer or stormwater needs approval first. We handle that paperwork as part of the job.
