Try one plunge, not ten. Repeated plunging on a line that is blocked further down pushes the obstruction deeper and turns a simple clear into an excavation. If one attempt does not shift it, stop and call. It is worth checking the overflow relief gully before you call - the grated drain outside, usually near the bathroom wall. If it is overflowing, that is the system doing its job, protecting the inside of the house, and it tells us the blockage is in the main sewer line rather than the fixture. Mentioning it on the phone changes what we bring.
